It was our first attempt at a (hopefully) recurring segment named "Calling All Runners" - which was an "open call" for anyone to join the discussion. Meaning, you could either call in or hang out in the chat room and discuss what we're talking about. It was kinda cool, but it needs a little work. I was trying to carry on a conversation while typing in the chat room. I don't know how my students do it. They can text, be on facebook, listen on their iPod and do homework all at the same time. It's mind boggling.
Remember, feel free to email me, Tom or Amy with upcoming ideas for the podcasts. We're always looking for good ideas!

I came back from my vacation to find the podcast on iTunes-- yay! Re: your students, yeah, just running and listening to a podcast at the same time is a huge multitasking accomplishment for me.
It is amazing how students can multi-task what they WANT to multi-task.
I'm nursing a wounded knee so I'll only be walking at lunch time today, but I forgot my iPod and I'm not sure how I'll survive. Sometimes, multi-tasking is about SURVIVAL.
Thanks for stopping by my blog, Mr. Doodle. Mind if I call you "RazZ"? Thanks. Now ... mind if I take this shirt off? It's a bit hot in this blog ... (cue wah-wah guitar)
Hey, I just ran across your blog, PFCRNRAZ will also be my first marathon, see you at the finish line.
I am fairly computer literate, but I cannot for the life of me find these downloads. They are not in my iTunes.
Razz, do you have any idea??
(PS-Word verification: toega.)
Did you still have big balls after the run or did they retreat?
