The good folks at Stonyfield Farm contacted me about trying out some of their yogurt. More specifically, their greek yogurt, Oikos. Now who am I to say "no" to free food? So, off I go to the nearest Whole Foods. I could easily have gone to my local store, but it's more fun to blow an entire paycheck at WF, or "Whole Paycheck" in some circles. So, the RazZDoodle family loaded up the van, and headed out. Now, because we're loving parents, we conveniently arrived when they were at the apex of samples.
C heese cubes + organic chips + free range cocktail shrimp = free lunch for us!
Yet another example of my supreme parenting skills.
Anywho, we picked up some plain yogurt, blueberry and honey yogurts. Here's how they break down, bullet point style:
- Honey yogurt: "Yummy" was the review from KidDoodle 1. I used it in a fruit smoothie and it was great. I highly recommend going that route.
- Plain yogurt: I made a Tziki sauce with it and put it on our greek turkey burgers. Impressed? You should be! Thumbs up from all RazZDoodles on that one.
- Blueberry yogurt: I had that after lunch and it was really good. Of course, I had it after gunning down a philly cheesesteak, so that makes the meal healthy, right?

Do you mean tzatziki sauce - the white stuff you put on gyros? Yeah, I never did like that stuff. Shame of the entire family, that's me.
In addition to being a sell-out, you're also cheap.
JoyRuN had the same product review AND she gave away 4 free yogurts.

(To me, thank you very much.) I suspect they gave you the same coupons and instead of paying them forward to blog land, you kept them for yourself.
Color me unsurprised.
Product WHORE!
It just feels good to say that to other people every once and a while.
I love it when I see a kid parked next to free samples at WF, munching away, while her parents shop. Might as well get your money's worth! Besides, watching their grimy little hands dive into the chip and cookie samples probably save me from gaining five pounds through samples every time I go shopping.
When did you get a VAN???
Samples ftw! I've paid for that Costco membership about twenty times over by now. The kids sort of give away our intentions when they are chanting "Samples! Samples!" as we roll into the store....
This is the 2nd positive review of this stuff that I've read, so it must be pretty good. Of course, I am still boycotting them since they didn't contact me with free coupons, but I hold a grudge like that.
Don't feel bad that these coupons were not "paid forward"...not even the family (save WifeDoodle and KidDoodles) were asked if we wanted to try a carton, or two. But we're not bitter!!!! But if I get asked to do a product review for Jack Daniels or Grey Goose, Razz better not coming crying to me.
LOL - I love it XC2... :)
I can empathize though. Little 'doodles don't feed themselves - unless you could squeeze a sams club membership out of someone. They have a crap-ton of samples there on Saturday!
