Nevertheless, I feel compelled to write something for you people. A few observations from the holiday weekend:
- One day of people watching at Adventureland (amusement park in Des Moines) reminded me a lot of my post about limitations. Y-I-K-E-S.
- People in the state of Iowa are horrible drivers. Absolutely horrible. Not some of them....all of them.
- My son is exceptionally loud. One of the weapons in my arsenal as a parent and teacher is my really loud whistle. 9 times out of 10, it gets people's attention. My whistle has nothing on KidDoodle2's set of lungs. It's particularly effective in a car. For 2 hours. Both ways.
- A look back on my running log shows that I've slacked a bit. Not that I needed to look at the log. I'm fairly aware of my running sans technology. I'm committing myself to train before I actually have to train.
- I bought a BlackBerry Curve. Welcome to the 21st century, RazZDoodle.
- I've already bookmarked www.crackberry.com.

AHEM!! ALL Iowa drivers?? Wanna rethink that just a bit?
VR - Technically, you're not an Iowa driver. You're absolved.
It's pretty sad when I can't even begrudge you your desperate plea for blog fodder over me. These are desperate times.
They make this stuff called Bendryl. It makes kids sleepy. Just sayin...
I'd like to hear more about how (insert home state here) drivers suck.
And nice use of 'pithy.' A week of posts in which you use 'pithy' frequently? That would be quite pithy.
My sister used to drug up my younger brother when she babysat with Nyquil...it makes kids a bit more bearable. Did you know that it's not sugar that ramps them up but the EXPECTATION for sugar? hmmm...my advice is to start daydreaming of FUNDIP and perhaps you'll get a vicarious high...
If you need motivation, check out my super food supplement giveaway. That keeps me going!

Iowa drivers are bad, second worst compared to Kentucky drivers. Lived in both places.
I hope you disinfected when you got back from Adventureland. Wt cooties are hard to get off.
Adventurland... Brings me back. I played in a state marching band competition there and got FRIED.
Of course, that didn't stop me from riding the dragon so many times that I could anticipate all of the turns/loops. Weeeee.
Yeah, I gots nothing on the blog front.
